Homie decided to wait for his standards to fall low enough to drink that PBR.

Would you believe me if I told you, a bar in my town has PBR as a “Premium” beer.

I love all kinds of beers, mostly craft beers and very few domestic, mass produced beers. PBR is great. yes it’s on the “light” side, but it tastes fine, and doesn’t give me a hangover because there are no preservatives, fillers, or other chemical additives.
on the other hand, one sip of any budweiser (American) product and I have an instant splitting headache and if I drink even 3 of them and I’ll have a horrible hangover and likely puking a lot that night.
surprisingly, another “clean” cheap beer is Milwaukees Best. it’s super cheap, tastes watered down, and is low alcohol, but it tastes fine, gets me buzzed, no hangover, no headache. like PBR, there are no chemical additives.

PBRs were a hearty college brew. Wasn’t always the most pleasant to start on them, but the were decent enough that a couple good beers got you primed enough to work into a few packs of PBR.

Blasphemy, PBR has given me many enjoyably drunken nights out without a heavy hangover. Slap yourself, respectfully.

What’s sad is how hard you tried, how much you put into this. Yikes.

In college, PBRs were only consumed after a six pack of Coors (back when Coors was kept cold from the brewery).
